A few notes about the archive, its sources, and its maintenance.

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my Commonplace Book. Everything here, or almost everything, is based on research I do across the internet. Some of it involves AI; some of it is simply my own writing.

In fact, nothing here has any real relevance, and perhaps that is precisely the charm of the place.

Although a good part of my research is done with AI, mostly because I believe it saves me a great deal of time, especially when it is busy offering its wrong opinions about everything, this website was not made by AI.

We are different, yes, but still “copies.” After all, the long chain of human learning and history is made of copies of copies, is it not? And at the end of it, we still manage to believe we are authentic. Of course, I saw something I liked and improved it for my own purposes.

This site is built with React, Next.js, and a handful of other libraries scattered around the usual modern mess.

The previous version, which lived at https://md.murad.gg, was built with MkDocs. For quite some time, it was extremely useful, especially because of how quickly I could organize documents there, something that, in this current version, was not so simple to adapt with the same ease.

As for everything else: the sole author is me, and so it shall remain.

This site expresses my opinions and, occasionally, the deranged opinions of whatever AI I happen to be using for research at the time. So nothing here is personal. They are only loose notes.

Farewell,
Pablo
